My name is Keanon Pohlman a.k.a UrbanKhoi and I am a 23 year old Fine artist based in Cape Town. The end of 2014 I had completed my Fine Art course at the Ruth Prowse School of Art and are currently working there at the school as a technical assistant with the first-year painting class as well as the art shop attendant. My work depicts an urban-graffiti and traditional hip – hop culture influence. Topics such as the city and constructs within the city, and the notion of challenging these constructs can be seen reflected within my work. I enjoy working on big scale and my work predominantly exists of mixed media paintings and charcoal drawings.
