At the start of January I won two Interrail tickets in a competition. At first I was very exited, and then the reality hit me. Two tickets don't make a holiday, and, more importantly, where can I travel with my wheelchair? Where are there only stairs available? How accessible are the buses and trams? Which hotels are accessible?

As I started to plan my trip I discovered it was quite difficult to find out information about accesabiliy in each country. In addition, I hadn't found a single other person who had made a trip through Europe on the Interrail, where I could maybe get some advice or tips.

I cannot imagine that I am the only person in a wheelchair to ever have this dream, so I would like to make it a bit easier for others who wish to do so.

21.04.14 - My plan is to travel with two assistants for...

My plan is to travel with two assistants for three weeks starting at the end of August. The route presently consists of Germany – France – Spain – Portugal – Italy.
In addition, during the trip I plan to interview other wheelchair users or interessted people I meet along the way. During the trip I will post to my blog regularly, and upon my return I will extend on my blog posts and create an e-book.

My book is meant first and foremost for people in wheelchairs. I will include a great many tips regarding accessible accommodation, restaurants, elevators, etc. I also want to include information about how other countries deal with inclusion. I want to inform as well as entertain, so that it is a book that will be enjoyed by anyone who enjoys reading travel guides.
My plan is to release the book in early 2015.
if I raise 3000 - 3500 I will also print a small run of hard copies.

Es gibt wundertolle News:Wie ihr oben sehen könnt, werden wir im Laufe der Woche offizell die Crowdfundinggrenze knacken.
