Next workshops with refugees, drums and theater.
Our project with refugees is ongoing thanks to you. This week we will make a drums and theater workshop.
The drums workshop will be driven by Friedrich Glorian where he will bring 25 drums for refugees to play around. Friedrich is an experience musician and compositor In this workshop he will encourage the refugees to follow certain rhythms and break them as they wish.
The theater workshop will be driven by Dan Glazer and Julia Baukus, both actors from theater Ulm. Their workshop will consist of different exercises and role playing. We will be also working in material for our performance in July.
In the video you will find our last workshop in the International School of Ulm and Neu Ulm. Refugees and students were excited about getting to know each other. Even if we didn't always shared the same language, we managed perfectly by creating a new invented language for our acting scenes.
