COP23 is over
Fiji wanted to embed the hard-to-translate Fijian concept of 'Bula' into the negotiations. "It's friendship, it's inclusiveness, it's happiness
...and they did a great job! Fiji you are always "Bula" in Bonn!

was an amazing networking opportunity for us!
We met many likeminded, open and nice climate enthusiasts from all around the world and are ready to create #BonnFiji partnerships with 16 other amazing #COP23 actors.
Thanks 4 mentioning our social enterprise under the picture of Frank Bainimarama and Johanna Schäfer (founder of BonnLAB and initiator of BonnFiji). It was a great pleasure to listen to the Fijian sounds, see the colorful dresses and pictures, be a part of talanoa and meeting warm and friendly Fijians during COP23.
And a big thank you to the people who supported the Prime Minister during his whole journey to #Bonn. #Fiji you warmed all the #COP23 humans - participants as well as our locals - and brought the #Talanoe spirit to #Bonn! We will do our best to keep the spirit here! Would love to stay in contact with you Isi Dugu, Lagi Seru, Siteri Tee & co. Maybe we will bring some "Rheinische Frohnatur, Fastelovend & Kölsches Grundgesetz" to Fiji one day! =)
#Bonn is the headquarter of UNFCCC, our city hosts the Global Festival of Action for Sustainable Development (21.-23.03.2018), the Global Media Forum by DW Deutsche Welle (11.-13.06.2018) and of course the SBs ("First sessional period 2018" from 30th of April to 10th of May).
