What is this project all about?
I used to write poems for people in the Mauerpark in Berlin.
“Give me 3 words and I’ll give you a poem”, my sign would say. Those words would then appear in a poem I’d compose on my typewriter.
Now the Mauerpark is empty, so I’m going to do it digitally for you here.
Public readings are off the table too, but there are many recordings of past performances.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?
If you want to have an individualized poem with your name on it, I am your man!
Short stories, my novel, videos of readings and films can help pass the time you have to spend cooped up at home. Hopefully they’ll bring a smile to your face and let you forget your worries for a little while.
Why would you support this project?
Support a struggling author, starving artist and indie filmmaker who’s been hit hard by the Corona crisis.
You’ll get beautiful works of art in return and plant the seed for more creativity.
How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
For now, your contribution will make sure that I’m able to pay the rent and write more poems and stories.
If you pick one of my films as a thank you, the money will go into the production of future films.
Who are the people behind the project?
While writing is a rather solitary profession, I do collaborate with a number of different artists who’ll benefit from your contribution directly or indirectly.
Especially filmmaking involves large crews of creatives. When even big Hollywood productions are forced to shut down, Independent cinema is in desperate need of funding.
