Sonst könnte ich alles, wie du sagtest, alleine übersetzen.
In the language of dance, music and video art, the dance performance “Barfuß oder Lackschuh” represents personalities and their inaccessible opinions by connecting them with the unrest in our currently divided society.
The production thus meets a topic that reflects us as part of this society.
Projected film recordings, which also create the stage design, not only contain a specific theme, but also illustrate the extent to which a previously intact collective can be divided.
The aim is to make a clear noticeable division in our society, which unites the dancers and the audience. The audience wanders through the different projected recordings from one presented decision to another, without being able to evade it. This inevitably makes them part of the performance. Our intention is to present the real-life topics to the audience as authentically as possible. The topic should not only be "introduced", but perceived and internalized with "a closer look in the mirror". A mirror that should show the audience how we humans have forgotten how to listen, how to overhear something, how to silence inner longings, and how to built up protection against noise.
Corresponding attention is generated, for example, through press and public relations work, which advertises our subject area and related innovations, such as new types of choreographic means. This extends to the specialist public as well as the interested public through to its own networking in the dance and visual scene.
Especially after Covid19, it was, is and needs to be recognized that art is really work, like all other professions, should be financially supported and thus recognized.
All of the money goes to the artists.
A small portion also goes to Bande á Part productions in order to be able to realize future performance opportunities.
Bande á Part productions [/ b] supported by the event "Bande á Part - Tanzbare Veranstaltung für Außenseiter" in the Eschschloraque Rümschrümp, which in turn is located in Haus Schwarzenberg.
Thanks to the "neurotitan Gallerie" we always got a protected space for our rehearsals.
