Der Bürgermeister von Berlin Mitte ist jetzt unser Unterstützer!
Wir haben uns vor kurzem mit Christian Hanke, dem Bürgermeister von Mitte, eine halbe Stunde in seinem Büro getroffen. Wir hatten ein schönes Gespräch und eine gute Diskussion über das Baumhausprojekt und wie unsere mit seinen Zielen für die kulturelle Entwicklung im Wedding zusammenpassen. Zur Eröffnung hat uns Herr Hanke seine Schirmherrschaft angeboten, und Unterstützung bei der Projektfinanzierung.

The mayor of Mitte is now a supporter of ours!
Recently we met with Christian Hanke, the mayor of Mitte in his office for half an hour. We had a very nice discussion about the Baumhaus project and how our goals align with the mayor's goals for cultural development in Berlin. Once we have the Baumhaus built, the mayor has offered to serve as the host of honor as well as using his network to help with Baumhaus project funding.

Unsere erste Veranstaltungsserie - (E.G.O.) Experimental Groove Orchestra
Seit September gibt es im Baumhaus regelmäßig kollektives Singen, Vokalisieren und Improvisieren: das " Experimental Groove Orchestra". Es ist super lustig und wir wollen uns mindestens alle zwei Wochen treffen. Die nächste Session: 30.10.. Kommt vorbei, wir freuen uns auf euch! Our first regular event series - E.G.O.) Experimental Groove Orchestra
Since late September, we have been running a regular event for group vocalization called the Experimental Groove Orchestra. We have gotten a lot of great feedback on this fun event so we will continue on at least a bi-weekly basis. Our next session is on 30.10., hope to see you there! (check out the recordings here)

Konferenz der Visionäre 1.11
Wir werden einen Vortrag über das Emergent Berlin Fest und natürlich auch über das Baumhausprojekt halten. Die Konferenz der Visionäre hier in Berlin bringt viele interessante und zukunftsgewandte Initiativen und Personen zusammen, die sich lokal und darüber hinaus für eine bessere Welt einsetzen. Eintritt nach Selbsteinschätzung.

Conference of Visionaries 1.11
We will be doing a half hour presentation of the Emergent Berlin Festival and the Baumhaus project this coming weekend during the Konferenz der Visionäre here in Berlin. This is a gathering of some of the most active and forward thinking groups and individuals working to make Berlin and beyond a better place. Admission is on a voluntary donation basis.
