:: Stand der Dinge und FairHandeln :: Supporting Good Initiatives

Liebe Freunde und Unterstützer,
wir dachten es ist an der Zeit euch kurz zu berichten wie es mit unserem Baumhausprojekt vorangeht. Und wir wollen euch auf ein anderes sehr schönes Projekt hinweisen, das Unterstützung brauchen könnte:
• fair-handeln - 111 Zukunftsfähigkeit (http://www.startnext.de/111-x-zukunftsfaehigkeit)
Jaana und viele Projekte aus unserem Netzwerk stellen ein Handbuch der "Fähigkeiten-Wirtschaft" zusammen: Rezepte, Handlungsanleitungen und eine Sammlung beispielhafter Projekte, die Leihen statt Besitzen, Selbermachen statt kaufen, Reparieren, Umwandeln, Aufwerten statt Wegwerfen praktizieren... noch elf Tage bleiben, um den Druck zu finanzieren!
• Stand der Dinge (2.10.13)
Alles hat etwas länger gedauert, vor allem unsere Mietvertragverhandlungen. Aber das hat uns mehr Zeit gegeben, das Projekt zu entwickeln, an unserem Businessplan zu feilen und vor allem viele neue Leute und Projekte zu finden, die mitbauen und das Programm im zukünftigen Baumhaus gestalten werden.
Jetzt freuen wir uns darauf, mit einem ausgereiften Projektplan zu den Banken zu gehen. Wenn alles klappt, werden wir noch vor Ende diesen Jahres endlich mit dem Bauen beginnen. Ohne eure Unterstützung wären wir nie so weit gekommen, also nochmals vielen Dank. Wir arbeiten weiterhin mit voller Energie an diesem Projekt, um in Berlin zu einer besseren Welt beizutragen.

Dear friends, fans and supporters,
We thought it would be a good time to check in with you to let you know about another great project that could use your support and also give you an update of what's happening with the Baumhaus project.
• fair-handeln - 111 Zukunftsfähigkeit (http://www.startnext.de/111-x-zukunftsfaehigkeit)
The fair handeln team is a group of dedicated active citizens in our network who are developing a great resource, a fair trade hand book. The book will help people use sustainable knowledge to take sustainable action! We supported this project because we feel that it can help people like us save money while acting in environmentally conscious ways.... only 12 days left to the end of their campaign!
• Baumhaus project update as of 2 October, 2013
Our lease negotiations have taken a lot longer than we expected but we have used our time during the last year to continue carefully developing our business plan and widen our network of collaborative supporters and partners. Now we are shortly before going to the banks to ask for the main funding for the project. If all goes well, we will be able to start building before the end of the year. We never would have gotten this far without your help so thanks again for empowering us to take action to make Berlin and hopefully the world a better place.
