Circus of Fools - 1. Album "RAISE THE CURTAIN"

After two years of playing a lot of show, we want to give something to all of you, who have always strongly supported us. Our very first full length album. Some songs will be included which are allready real live hits, such as Halo Lights or Bushido, but we are also going to record many, many brand new, never before heard tracks. It will be a blast! However the production of an album is expensive and we still need €3,500. Without your help we can not do it!

What is this project all about?

The metal band Circus of Fools from Tübingen/Germany is a striking appearance. Clowns blast bombastic sounds out of their instruments, a sophisticated stage show presents jugglers and a dancer, elaborate costumes and much more. However, not only the show is striking but also the music ... circus music meets eastern sounds, modern metal and core meets gothic and dark rock, exciting riffs intertwine with epic synth melodies, emotional and challenging texts form a symbiosis with a distinctive, dark voice. And it is this music which wants to find its way into the living rooms. In the form of an album which will appropriately for a circus be called "RAISE THE CURTAIN". 12 pieces between moral and madness, between melody and brutality.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

"For the discerning music lover, who still does not wish to forego hardness and catchiness ..." This is might be the appropriate set phrase. It's hard to tell who is part of the target group, because whether you're the typical black scene type, a hardcore breakdown fetishist or a gloomy metaler, you'll find something in our music that you might like. The goal of course is a ready-produced album, here we work with Evagelos Maranis. A producer who is known for his epic productions, so he might be just perfect for your favorite fool's circus.

Why would you support this project?

There are, of course, a lot of nice rewards, mainly concerning the new album. You will be amazed! We can already promise that something big will come your way. Do you hear the puppets marching, the clowns rebel and Salomé flirt?

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

With it we pay our visit in the Maranis Studios in Backnang + mixing and mastering. So without your support, the CD does not even say "beep".

Who are the people behind the project?

Of course, in the first place, the band Circus of Fools (Yannick, Julian, Nico, Dominik, Tim, Mara, Johannes, and Coen) and all of you supporting the project plus our producer Evagelos Maranis.
