ClimateHubs -the climate action network for your city

We combine the various forces in the fight against climate protection to use synergies and thus achieve our common goal - an earth on which we can live for a long time to come.

To this end, we want to build online and real-world networked climate protection platforms that enable new climate protection projects and strengthen and disseminate existing projects. If, for example, an effective project emerges in one city, it can then be initiated very quickly in other cities via the network. The local networkers are central to this!

They coordinate the ClimateHubs and are employed by us. They ensure a constant exchange with the local actors and a targeted support of effective projects in the respective city.

With your help, we would like to establish a total of 12 ClimateHubs throughout Germany!

In addition to the long-established climate heroes, we would also like to address the climate heroes of tomorrow. Those who want to help, but don't yet know how.
We would like to involve everyone who works on climate protection. This includes companies, institutions and municipalities.

Our goal is to establish ClimateHubs in 12 German cities within 1 1/2 years.
With these we would like to initiate new effective climate protection projects, spread existing projects and strengthen the participation of citizens interested in climate protection.

Cities with which we are in exchange are: Konstanz, Neumünster, Saarbrücken, Marburg, Kiel, Halle (Saale), Braunschweig, Magdeburg, Fürth, Zwickau, Jena, Potsdam, Koblenz, Würzburg.

• You help us to connect climate activists, simplify their work and enable many new projects for climate protection.

• Climate protection concerns us all, because in 30 years we all want to live in a world that is not determined by extreme weather and scarcity of vital resources. We want to help and do everything possible, bring together important actors* in the fight against the climate crisis.

The money will enable us to cover our own contribution of 93.000€ in case of a funding approval. However, if we are not accepted, the money will be our seed money to further expand the Climate Connect network and thus the ClimateHub.

Funding level:

• 30.000: We can start, but we need to raise a large part from other sources.
• 60.000: We have the majority together and will be able to accept the funding in case of approval.
• 90.000: In the case of a funding approval we can immediately accept and start the project, because we already have the entire contribution together thanks to you!
