Clipless cycling shoes are essential, but the standard models can be pricey and inconvenient. These shoes are not a part of everyday lifestyle because they make walking awkward and are impractical. If you want to enjoy all the benefits, you'll need to carry two pairs of shoes. There are other clipless shoe styles that might make walking easier, but the selection is very limited and they are expensive.

ClipClap®´s clipless pedal adapter is an innovative pedal adapter that can turn any pair of shoes into a set of professional clipless pedal shoes in a matter of seconds. Maximum pedaling efficiency is achieved through a fixed yet anytime detachable connection between the shoe and the pedal. The clipless pedal adapter consists of two parts: the mainplate and the belt that can be switched out for different colors.

The main plate comes in two different configurations (Explore and Road) that are compatible with a wide variety of pedals on the market, made in Germany using mainly sustainable materials and recycled components like damaged bike tubes on the belt and 100% recyclable plastic for the plastic parts.

We place great value on the sustainable production of our products, with short transport routes and lean supply chains. The prototyping and assembly we do so far by ourselves. Our suppliers come from the region because in addition to short delivery routes, we also value fair production, Made in Germany. To this end, we use sustainable and recycled raw materials, such as in our belt, which is partly made from old bicycle inner tubes. We also support social and climate-relevant projects. So we want to reduce CO2 emissions not only by cycling. With the help of Planted, we're tending to a company forest where we plant a tree for every product we sell.
