Those who live in a frontline city in a crisis area need a safe retreat, a place where the harsh realities of everyday life can be forgotten and freedom can be experienced. This is exactly why we, together with you, want to implement the world's first CREATIVE HUB. A place where children and young people can discover, strengthen and live out their talents and self-confidence on a long-term basis.

What is this project all about?

Our goal? The establishment of a stationary CREATIVE HUB in Eastern Ukraine. Our projects around the globe have proven to us that this concept works everywhere and can have a positive impact on the whole community. Therefore, this centrally located hub is to become a meeting place where local artists and creatives can organize and offer regular workshops and projects.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

The first CREATIVE HUB is being built in Avdiivka in Eastern Ukraine. There, a local core team is already working with children on a daily basis.

Why would you support this project?

Creative workshops support in two ways: Firstly, they promote the personality: here one works with the power of thought, expression, will and initiative. Secondly, they strengthen a sense of togetherness: working in teams calls for social skills such as tolerance, consideration, and listening. The result: new self-confidence and self-assurance. The work creates a sense of achievement, new perspectives, shows ways forward and gives lasting strength. Some discover unknown sides of themselves, others enjoy the sense of community, and some, for the first time, experience real recognition.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

We are building the world's first CREATIVE HUB in Avdiivka in Eastern Ukraine.

Who are the people behind the project?

ARTHELPS is an initiative of creatives and artists that helps people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds in a very special way: with art. The various imaginative projects give them a stage on which they can discover, get to know and live out their artistic potential. And ARTHELPS gives them a voice. Because through the exhibition and the sale of the results, their hopes and aspirations are brought to the public - and thus make new creative projects possible again.

For ARTHELPS, creativity is the most important tool, the motor and the universal language that helps to communicate in a casual way. As a non-profit art initiative, ARTHELPS can thus not only reach the people themselves, but also build bridges between different social classes. To this end, each individual at ARTHELPS donates their time and talent.
