După Gard: your bear-foot holiday

Let's put it this way: there is nothing Ioana's mother cannot do for this project-- as she has the time, the energy and, most importantly, the talent to do whatever it takes :)
In 2012, when Ioana started her very first project based in Posaga (Dupa Gard location), her mother ~ MARIA ~ was the dedicated chef; every day, for 3 months, she volunteered to cook 5 different dishes so that the guests attending Ioana's project can fully experience the Transylvanian slow-food cooking. And then, for the next 3 years, she continued to cook and enchant the guests with her wide cooking knowledge & very important herbal healing (Herbalism) introduction-sessions.
Starting 2017, we fought Maria should expend her talents by going back to her first love (hobby): handmade clothing. Needless to say, that she can create any traditional piece of clothing-- regardless the fabric, pattern or size. But we fought to keep it smaller and practical: interior design (small curtains, blankets, tablecloths), kitchen - cloths, book-signs, shopping-bags, slippers. Made mostly from lace or wool (from Maria's parents sheep), these fine objects will constitute an important part of what our guests will take with them, as souvenirs, on departure. As Dhalia ~ Maria's granddaughter and Ioana's & Andreas daughter~ is always present @ Dupa Gard in Summer, is understood that Maria knows how to create children clothing too :)
