elbén – connects Syrian and German hearts by means of culinary experience and provides a new life perspective for refugees.

Jobs allow for independence and facilitate integration. Food links cultures and creates encounters. That is why the project elbén aims to bridge Syrian refugees and permanent residents by giving the refugees the possibility to prepare and sell the Fast Good "Manakish". Particularly, the project enables the participating refugees to obtain a new task and structure in everyday life and to gain financial independence.
