Greetings!
Thank you to everyone who supported us during this campaign. I was very hesitant to do this because I don't feel like anyone owes us anything. We do this job because we love it, but COVID really humbled us and made us realize asking for some type of help was going to possibly be the difference between sinking and swimming - or some other type of failing vs. not failing metaphor, take your pick.
We are in a precarious position in that we're a very small cafe/bar. When the weather is nice and the terrace is full, life is good in terms of business. But when it's rainy and we max out at 15 people seated inside, it's hard to even break even. So, who knows what the future will hold.
We have a lot of hope, and of course we love what we do. For now that is what we're going with.
Now that the campaign has concluded and StartNext has initiated the transfer of funds to us, we can now make our orders to the printers for t-shirts and the other stuff we posted. I will let you know as soon as we have it in our hands.
