Animal Welfare is an important topic in "horse marathon" - called endurance riding. Elimination rates in rides need to be reduced.
I am Lena, dedicated veterinarian and endurance rider from Berlin/Germany and I want to find out more about metabolic eliminated horses at endurance rides in the context of my dissertation. With my study, I would like to make a significant step towards lower elimination rates and consequently increase animal welfare in our sport, which was lately faced with deadly accidents and severe injuries.

SCHOLARSHIP
We got accepted for a science scholarship of the GWP ("Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Wissenschaft um das Pferd e.V") around Dr. Julia Steinhoff-Wagner after 3 months of detailed assessment.
This scholarships adds 3000 Euro on top of the crowdfunding for laboratory costs!
