GroßARTig nachhaltig.

The festival Kunst-Kultur-Natur is a sustainable festival of classical and contemporary music and art at unusual stages in nature, in the outskirts of Vienna. Through art that satisfies the highest quality standards, we are creatively narrating that we care about the environment. The idea for the festival was born as an attempt to unite art and nature. Moreover, through the unique atmosphere we are trying to create a spontaneous space of encounter with art.

What is this project all about?

On four live concert evenings, art and nature can be experienced side by side at the festival. The energy between human-artistic expression and nature merges audibly and visibly - the festival offers an extraordinary experience with an educational content about art and sustainability.

The concerts will be performed on spontaneous stages in the nature - the festival does not use any lighting, sound or other stage equipment. Furthermore, there is a possibility for the visitors of the festival to create small origami artworks out of the recyclable concert booklets. At the same time, we will present small art exhibitions dedicated to raising awareness for the mindful and appreciative treatment of our natural environment.

Our events will take place on the following locations, in Vienna:
In den Gabrissen 50, 1210
Kurpark Oberlaa, 1110
Freiluftplanetarium Sterngarten, 1230
Sisi Kapelle, Am Himmel, 1190

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

We want to appeal to people who enjoy spending time outdoors and in nature. On the other hand, we want to reach those who have little interest or access to such form of art in their everyday lives.

Why would you support this project?

Anyone who is as concerned as we are about awareness of the need to treat our living space with respect and appreciation should support us. Whoever wants to give young musicians and artists a possibility to perform and present themselves should also support us.

Finally, our goal is to send a message through art and thus in a creative way, that the environment is important and that it is high time for a change. By doing that we are also giving young artists a chance to present themselves in an unusual way.

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

The collected amount will be used for the transportation of the instruments as well as for the video production of the whole project.

Who are the people behind the project?

Cultural Association ArtVisa - young ambitious people who want to initiate a sustainable change in the world of culture and establish a showcase project in the field of sustainable events: Helena Telen, Florian Seidl, Roberta Kern and Tihana Dovhanj.

Our artists: Artel Quartet, Julian Jankovic, Rever Quartet, Erwin Belakowitsch und Stephen Delaney, ensemble N and artists from Kunstkreis Döbling.
