What is this project all about?

GalaCon is Europe’s largest, longest-running fan event for the animated TV hit “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”.

At GalaCon, you can meet producers, staff and voice performers from the TV series, movies, comics and beyond. Additionally, GalaCon features panels and workshops hosted by special guests and fans alike, events and games to participate in, a wide variety of vendors and creators selling their work, and more. Other highlights include the Saturday evening events, the Gala Ball and the Gala Party, as well as the big charity auction on Sunday.

GalaCon aims to provide an all-around great weekend to all attendees, no matter if they got big plans or just want to meet friends and like-minded people.

What is the project goal and who is the project for?

As in all years before, we as the GalaCon staff want to provide a one-weekend get-away and gathering place for fans of the series and anyone interested, no matter age or gender.

Why would you support this project?

GalaCon is financed almost entirely through ticket sales. We receive no sponsorship money or other outside financing. StartNext allows GalaCon to go the extra mile to make things even better.
