Die Gartenpaten-User unterstützen sich gegenseitig; sie teilen zwar hauptsächlich ihre Gärten, aber auch Werkzeuge, Saatgut, die Ernte, Wissen, etc. Gleichzeitig stellt Gartenpaten praxisnahe Tipps bereit, um die Vielfalt im Garten zu erhöhen, alte Arten zu erhalten und die Ernte mit nachhaltigen Anbaukonzepten zu erhöhen. Um das Projekt voranzutreiben, braucht Gartenpaten einen professionelleren Web-Auftritt.
