Six friends from East Germany remember what happened in her home country a quarter of a century ago. They travel back to a time that they have experienced so differently than most people around the world think. The film deliberately avoids the popular images and stereotypes and shows never published, private video material. For her first major documentary film Anke Ertner has portrayed six of her closest friends.
