Once this funding objective has been achieved, we can complete our CE marking and go into small-scale production in Germany.
The heat_it is used for the treatment of insect bites by heat with a smartphone. With heat_it, this scientifically proven treatment principle can be applied at any time in the future. The heat_it app allows you to adjust the settings perfectly to your needs. For the last steps up to CE-marking and production we need you!
As a thank you for your support, heat_it is available in two versions: Once for iPhones (Apple-Lightning plug, iOS-App) and Android Smartphones (USB-C plug). Owners of older Android smartphones (Micro-USB connector) get a free adapter included. So the heat_it can be used with practically every smartphone. The app will be downloadable free of charge in the respective appstores.
We ship all over Europe. Please make sure to book shipping outside Germany if your shipping address is outside Germany
For anyone who wants to enjoy their time in nature without having to worry about itchy insect bites. For really everyone? Yes, due to the individual adjustment possibilities, the treatment with heat_it is perfectly suitable for every skin type, for every gender, adult and child, more- and less sensitive people.
Initiated as a student project 2 years ago, we are now working full-time on the market launch of heat_it.
We can only take the final steps of the costly medical approval and of the production "Made in Germany" with your help. heat_it is developed and manufactured in a resource-saving way. For the treatment you need neither chemicals nor additional batteries.
Now, you can secure your heat_it now with your support and get it before everyone else. In that way you are the decisive factor to enable market entry for our invention.
The money finances the final steps for CE marking and start of production. The money will go to our medical technology start-up, Kamedi GmbH, founded in Karlsruhe, Germany in October 2018.
The founding team consists of Stefan Hotz, Lukas Liedtke, Armin Meyer and Christof Reuter. We studied mechanical engineering together at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and are a start-up supported by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs.
In addition to KIT, the Cyberlab Accelerator and the Life Science Accelerator support us in the development of heat_it and our start-up. For the certification of our start-up and the clinical evaluation of heat_it, we cooperate with various experts.
