What is this project all about?
I just want a little bit of HOLLYWOOD...*
Wouldn't that be nice: a big adventure, true love, with a happy end..?
But life so often looks very different and in my songs I sing about life’s stories, feelings and mysteries.
To make the album sound different from my live gigs I invited a whole band - and we’ve recorded 12 Pop-Rock-Singer/Songwriter songs in English and German.
Under the independent label „sillypranks“ the album *„Ich will doch bloß ein bisschen HOLLYWOOD“ will be released November 2013.
To fund this new adventure I am here on StartNext and ask for your support!
What is the project goal and who is the project for?
With my music I want the world to pause for a moment. On the one hand through experiencing (live) music in general and on the other hand through my songs and lyrics about freedom, letting go and finding one’s place in the world.
You are invited to think about my songs a little while longer, while others will accompany you as catchy tunes – for I also have light hearted, easy-going songs in my repertoire.
The world is full of wonders and beautiful moments – which I try to see, to cherish, preserve and let come to life again in a song.
And especially this new Pop-Rock-Singer/Songwriter album is something!
Why would you support this project?
My music is composed and written solely by me, Gesa Winger/Melody Found.
I love my work as singer/songwriter and I hope it also conveys a great deal to others too. Though it may be naïve or brave, my dream is to make a living from it. I’ve found that I need to devote my full energies to this project because it is so important to me. I want to set an example that it is possible to follow your dreams and to be able to support yourself in a conscious and sustainable way from doing what you love.
I am just taking my first steps of this long and adventurous journey and for this beginning, and especially my big project - my new album - I need your support!

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?
The money will be used to
- produce the CDs (pressing & printing), as well as the cover and booklets (all CO2 neutral)
- include charges for mailing and handling
- produce the rewards (buttons, bags...)
- pay the band's travel expenses
- reimburse Julian Hoffmann for his 2 months of work
If the goal of €4141,- is not reached you get your money back.
And if we exceed the funding amount - I am saving for a new guitar... : )

Vielen Dank! Die Finanzierung ist geglückt! Ihr seid so klasse!!! Wer dieses Projekt hier bei StartNext verpasst hat, aber dennoch ein Album oder ein anderes Dankeschön bestellen möchte, kann dies gerne über meine Internetseite www.melodyfound.de/?page_id=37 tun, solange der Vorrat reicht. Und nun geht es ans Eingemachte: Nina Weinrebe vom Studio Ahoi liegt in den letzten Zügen des Cover- und Booklet-Designs (oohh, wird das schön!), die CD-Produktion ist angefragt, die Aufkleber habe ich bereits bei mir zuhause und die Buttons sind unterwegs. Nächste Woche fahre ich nach Berlin und werde die Beutel bedrucken lassen - da freue ich mich auch schon drauf! Die 10 SPEZIALpakets-Beutel habe ich auch fertig genäht - ratatatataa, die Nähmaschine hatte gut zu tun - jetzt warten sie nur noch auf ihren Inhalt : ) Und bis dahin freue ich mich einfach weiter und grinse von einem Ohr zum anderen ... ein Freudentänzchen ist auch drin!
