il Civetto - first Album!

il Civetto is a community of many supporters. For 5 years we had a great time making music together with you in so many different places.
Now after one year of work our album is almost finished. It is a journey through countries, times and emotions. Spontaneous joy, mysterious exoticism and melancholia. We have brought the il Civetto sound to the next level. Now we really want to present our work to you! That's why we need some support from you on this site.

And we are looking for more: Playing music with refugees on the greek island of Lesvos we got to know the network Welcome2Europe (w2eu). W2eu provides refugees with useful information and supports them when they arrive at the European borders. We think it is important to welcome refugees here and ease their way to Europe. In Greece we gained the impression, that the network is a big support for many of them. Thats why we want to use our gains from selling our Album to support Welcome2Europe. For that we need you!

In detail, we need that money to reward all the amazing people who helped us realize this great project. Mixing, mastering, design, promotion and print - there is a lot of work behind that CD.
If we achieve our goal to finance this album we can publish it (as planned) on the 6th of november.

The release will be celebrated on the 5th of december in Ritter Butzke in Berlin. Afterwards, we'll save some money, by selling the CDs and donate it to Welcome2Europe.
