Musikerportrait: Munya Nyamarebvu
1991 in Zimbabwe geboren, hat Munya Nyamarebvu eben seine Studium des Internationalen Marketings an der Technischen Hochschule in Zimbabwe mit dem Bachelor abgeschlossen.
Gleichzeitig war er immer auch musikalisch unterwegs, hat auf lokalen Festivals und in Clubs gespielt. Er beherrscht nicht nur verschiedene traditionelle Instrumente, sondern vor allem die akustische Gitarre. Als Singer-Songwriter hat er seinen ganz speziellen Stil gefunden, seinen Afro Fusion Sound. Gerade hat er sein erstes Solo-Album aufgenommen, das Ende des Jahres veröffentlicht wird.

Munyaradzi recently recorded his debut album "Ndiri Ndoga", which literally translates to "All Alone", a 12 track solo album which is due to be released late this year. Through his involvement in various musical workshops and platforms, he is part of the Acoustic Night Allstars, a group of Zimbabwean artists who will be touring Germany in 2015. The Allstars will be having joint recording sessions with Jamaram, a German Reggae and Rock& Roll Band, during their sabbatical in Germany scheduled for July-Sept 2014 to produce a joint album (release 2015).
