Crowdfunding since 2010

When we go to Japan on concert tour, none of our highly capable and motivated singers should have to stay at home for financial reasons.

Sakura - cherry blossom - is the title of an old Japanese folk song that the Goettingen Boys Choir has had in its repertoire for quite some time. Now the Boys Choir is realizing a "sweet dream" – a concert trip to Japan during cherry blossom season. We will perform sacral and secular music of the great choral tradition of Germany. In concerts and in workshops with Japanese youth choirs, western and Japanese music will find its voice.
