A lot has happened at JohannesHof since its revival in spring 2015. Serious investment was done to get the project started. However, the whole JohannesHof project is at risk. New water regulations demand the complete clearing of domestic waters. That includes sewage as well as barely contaminated kitchen water. A biological sewage plant and new pipes need to be installed to replace historic constructions. Without this, local authorities will shut down the estate - no matter if JohannesHof contributes to village life or not.
The ultimate goal is to save JohannesHof from closure. However, draining cleared waters to the environment is a necessary requirement to save our local surroundings too.
JohannesHof is active in the social and cultural area. It is open to village people as well as visitors from anywhere. Never mind your background as long you respect basic human rights.
The purpose of JohannesHof is to contribute to the attractivity of our region. This will make people stay or even return to Bockendorf and surrounding.
The absence of a modern sewage system is a threat to the whole project.
The money will be eaten up by the installation of the sewage plant (€ 5500). In the lucky case of additional budget, sanitary facilities and main entrance will renovated to become barrier-free.
