What do four penniless, young artists do in the 21st century? Party!
Opera is dull and boring? Not with szene12! We turn classical operatic works into modern and exciting theatrical productions, handling the work with utmost freedom. In 2016 we’re devoting ourselves to Puccini’s La Bohème, a mainstay of the operatic repertoire. With the addition of newly composed sections, our own German translation, and a highly unconventional set-design we will work collaboratively to stage La Bohème as it’s never been seen before.
