The €8000 would help us pay for part of the bands' fees and the event equipment for LaP 2020.
We're a team of Christians. With our project/festival, we want to support fans and musicians in the Christian scene and put other people in touch with Christian faith. Nonetheless, we don't want to force our beliefs on anyone!
If you'd like to see more of us, feel free to check out our social media: @loudandproudfestival on Instagram and @CVJMLoudandProudFestival on Facebook.
We want to get people excited about a life with God through good music, true-to-life messages and authenticity. As a team, we're connected through our mutual passion for all different kinds of music and the joy we find in celebrating together. There is no particular target audience, simply because every music enthusiast is welcome at Loud at Proud. Our experiences from the last decade have shown that most of our fans are between 14 and 40, though.
Everyone who chooses to support our project helps us finance an event that connects all kinds of people on a national and international basis. Hundreds of music lovers celebrate together with 17 or more bands from all over the world on just one weekend. This passion for music that we all share makes it very easy and rewarding to build new friendships as well. On top of that, Loud and Proud also helps Christian musicians to grow their fanbases by giving them a space where their voices are heard.
The money we hope to get through this campaign will help us pay for the bands and all the event equipment.
Throughout the past few years, it got harder and harder to keep a Christian music festival alive. Unfortunately, due to difficulties in financing, many of our friendly festivals were forced to give up their work already (or are in the process of doing so).
The Christian rock and alternative scene seems to dwindle. We want to counteract that and contribute to many young music lovers coming into contact with the Good News again. We want the Christian music scene to experience an upswing.
In order for us to still bring Christian music onto German stages in a few years' time, we need your support. Help us stay worthwhile.
Loud and Proud is backed by a whole organization of roughly 150 members from Germany, Switzerland and the United States. We not only organize the annual Loud and Proud Festival, but also our by new very LaP-typical "Feierabende" (that is, chill unplugged shows with some of our bands), weekends for members to connect and have fun together and many other smaller events.
Founder of Loud and Proud is Fabian Strunk, who, together with his wife Karina, got the very first festival going back in 2009.
