In a digital age, without electrity no trace is left behind. MFILES is an attempt to preserve the medium of film. All 157,200 film frames of Fritz Lang´s film M will be printed onto paper, bound to 499 books according to the movie ́s takes, and collected in a book shelf.

MFILES ist nun nach langer Verzögerung fertiggestellt! MFILES wird im Rahmen des Videoart at Midnight Festivals im Kabinett der Galerie Nagel-Draxler vom 14.-16.12.2108 erstmalig zu sehen sein. Ich möchte alle Unterstützer herzlich zu dieser Sneak Preview einladen und werde in weiteren Posts nähere Details mitteilen.

After a long delay MFILES is finally realized! MFILES will be shown for the first time in the Kabinett of Nagel Draxler Gallery in Berlin as part of the Videoart at Midnight festival from december 14th to 16th, 2018. I would like to welcome all supporters to this Sneak Preview and will keep you updated in further posts. Many thanks for the wonderful help!!
