Miu "Modern Retro Soul" - A Double LP!

Being a full time musician without hunting shortterm trends the music industry dictates can be a tough task. Nevertheless I followed my dream and quit my old job a few years ago - without regrets so far.
In my small musician's career I met great people: my musicians, co-writers, nice venues, the media and all those people coming to our concerts and buying our music! We were even invited to play at Hamburg's Elbphilharmonie!
To sum it up: Things go quite well so it's time for the next step.

After releasing 2 records I can finally say: I have found the sound I was searching for a long time. Great co-writers wrote such a beautiful album with me covering all my musical influences and heroes from soul, blues, intelligent pop and a little bit of jazz.
We wrote about topics I was carrying with me for a long time: feeling lonely among others, social media stress, creepy stalking stories and - of course - some love songs.
Mean fuzz guitars, soft mellotron, Motown bass, strings, brass,... Believe me you will love the record as much as we do.

Modern Retro Soul

As I said all songs refer to different eras of my musical background - some are a little more up to date others are oldfashioned and retro.
As we wrote so many songs that we'd like to show you I decided to make a double LP underlining the effect of older and newer influences in my music: Modern Retro Soul.
One side will be a little more retro serving my heroes from the 60s & 70s, the other is a little more progressive - a concept album!

My goal is to produce, release and promote a double LP which features influences in soul, pop, blues - retro and contemporary at the same time.

The project is for everyone who:
- likes english soul/pop/blues music
- handmade and high quality music/ productions
- wants to support me in acting independently in the music industry
- is already a fan of "Miu" :-)
- is looking for a nice sponsoring project or business partner: Let's discuss!

I don't earn any cent in this calculation. The crowdfunding is neccessary to cover the costs.

My friends and I have spend time and effort to write and arrange this album. So it's clear that we want to record the songs in the right studio and want to make sure that they will be heard - so a professionall promo team needs to take care of promoting the release.
All of this is so expensive that it is impossible for me to pay everything by myself. Well...if you're a Hilton heiress or a rich manager you could pay all of that easily but in my case I'm none if that ;-)
The budget is needed for:

• producer & studio
• fees for musicians
• mixing
• mastering
• promo agencies for radio-/print-/TV-/online etc. (they'll take care of the music getting played on the radio or me getting invited to interviews - to make the record a success this is crucial!)

If we reach the 2nd goal we'd have:

• budget for musicvideos- because we all want something to watch, don't we?
