During an assignment in Morocco in early December, I was eyewitness when team Morocco beat Spain in the round of 16 at the World Cup. Fans in Agadir went crazy & I got many nice photos. And I gave a promise: I am back if you reach at least the semifinal! // Als ich Anfang Dezember in Agadir war, wurde ich Zeuge der riesigen Euphorie nach dem Sensationssieg über Spanien. Ich gab ein Versprechen ab: falls Marokko es bis ins Halbfinale schafft, bin ich danach wieder mit Fotokamera vor Ort!

What a wonderful game last night! Bravo, Morocco!

Don't be too sad that you haven't reached the final - you gave us a great time at these otherwise very strange World Cup

And there is one more game to go!

I am planning now a quick trip to Morocco, to document the emotions surrounding the final game, and maybe even when Team Morocco returns from Qatar.
