It is deep winter. We are standing in a forest, in the snow. In front of us is the refugee shelter that had been set on fire. Some boys are playing in the snow. Their laughter echoes through the forest. We are seeking our point of view. Slowly, the camera begins rotating our perceptual field; we see the neighboring houses with their curtains drawn, the rotting fences, the overlapping branches. Nothing indicates an arson attack happened here. The neighbors give their account.
