Michael is 30 and chronically single. Together with his best friend Tom, he is trying to change that. But Tom meets Mia and spends more and more time with her instead of Michael, so he tries his luck on Tinder. In order to improve his chances, he searches for help online and thus comes into contact with the so-called "Incel community." With every disappointing interaction with potential dates, Michael is drawn further and further into a spiral of loneliness, misogyny and self-hatred.
