Crowdfunding projects for refugee aid at Startnext
Start your project and apply now!
As part of the campaign, Startnext is running a contest that supports projects and startups aiming to create opportunities for refugees living in Europe. If your project is accepted as a participant (by meeting the necessary criteria) and gains more than 100 supporters during the course of the contest, you will receive €1,000 in cofunding from the #RefugeesWelcome promotion fund.
Who can apply?
The contest is open to project starters whose Startnext projects are aiming to develop sustainable ways to aid refugees (e.g. education projects, social enterprises). The project’s funding target must amount to at least €5,000, and the project starters must be based in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland.
When does it begin?
All projects must meet certain criteria to take part in the contest. You may submit your project for consideration any time between October 28, 2015 and January 20, 2015 at 23:59. The actual contest period ends on February 17, 2016. You may submit your project even if it is already in the starting or funding phase.
We are delighted that Andrea Nahles, Federal Minister for Labour and Social Affairs, is supporting our campaign as an honorary patron.
Startnext is the largest crowdfunding community for creative and sustainable ideas, projects and startups in the German-speaking countries. We believe in a culture in which creative and sustainable ideas are promoted through the generosity of numerous supporters.
