The percussion ensemble of the Saarland State Theatre is going to record new pieces written during the pandemic, among others.

Besides compositions particularly written for percussion ensemble and the first recording of Tan Dun's „Prayer and Blessing“ we are about to record our special version of Frank Zappa's „The Black Page“ feat. Christopher Garcia (Grandmothers of Invention). Our special guest Herman Rarebell (former SCORPIONS) will join us for a recording of „Rock You Like a Hurricane“. Anything exceeding the production costs will be donated to the Help-Freelancer-COVID-Fond of "Deutsche Orchesterstiftung".
