Anna Franziska Michel, along with her business partner Rio Sierra, created the label NOETIA.berlin. In their projects, Anna Franziska Michel and Rio Sierra bring Berlin’s stories and tales back to life. Heavily influenced by theoretical and philosophical concepts, they transform these inspirations into more than just fashion. The starting point of their last collection was the phenomenon of Synaethesia. This extraordinary experience is gaining more awareness in today’s world since it’s closely connected to our new, global and multimedia perception of the world. NOETIAberlin’s androgynous aesthetic is highlighted by the names of Womenswear NOETIA and Menswear AITEON. The designs are combined with video- and photographic material, so that when you purchase their clothes, you also acquire small worlds. NOETIAberlin’s visions are based on digital prints that are developed and created in collaboration with the designer’s children and further expanded upon with methods of Generative Design. Through this process, the used fabrics are able to tell new stories and generate a sense of individuality. NOETIAberlin designs are created with love; they are vibrant and unique.
Since 2016 they offer every fashionweek a panel discussion about contemporary topics in the fashion industry.
