Our collective includes artists, engineers, designer and Djs from all over the world, all connected through the love of music and working for a more sustainable world.

The SolarSoundSystem Berlin antenna is run by an international group of engineers and artists working together as volunteers to build the project!

SolarSoundSystem NGO was founded in 1999 in Lausanne by the designer Cédric Carles who intended to match environmental and artistic purposes. The solar dj team participated and provided sustainable energy in more than 600 events around the world. Today, we do a new antenna for Berlin !

Moreover, SolarSoundSystem is:
• A Radio: where we live stream or record the different gigs and events of all antennas
• A solidarity fund : dedicating 5% of the earnings for a common pot, used to fund energy and solidarity projects
• A network : to promote local artists from different cultures and countries
