Farzana Yusuf, an award winning fashion entrepreneur, textile designer and educator from Dhaka, Bangladesh has worked for more than twenty years in the traditional textile crafts from South Asia. With her team, she has conceptualized, designed and created fashion and lifestyle products for home and abroad. A strong motivator and practitioner in handmade textiles- she practice, research and educate about socially and ethically aware product design and development. For more than twelve years she has taught in tertiary level design education in Bangladesh. In her academic career she has developed modules, courses and curriculums and successfully coordinated graduate and postgraduate level programs in Fashion Design.
