Hermine was born in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1990.
After finishing a Music High School, a photography internship and her Audio Visual Arts Studies in Corfu, Greece, she started studying Video/Motion Pictures in the Hochschule Darmstadt in Germany. Her first professional experience was on the set of the 90-min TV-Movie "Toleranz" produced by BR-alpha and Tellux Film. Her focus is on cinematography, direction and screenwriting. She is now completing her film equipment rental company internship in Ludwig Kameraverleih Berlin.
