Karolin Stächele, Freiburg (born 1984)

Choreographer / Dancer / Dance instructor / Musician

Karolin studied dance at the Schule für Neuen Tanz, Improvisation und Performance (School for dance, improvisation and performance) in Freiburg (TIP). Since then she has danced for companies in national and foreign territory, such as “Jetlag 7” (Freiburg). She was a dancer in the video production “Macula Matris” (2013) and from 2012 to 2014 was a member of the Dance Company betweenlines. “Loser”, her first own production, celebrated its debut in 2014 in Freiburg.

Karolin teaches children creative dance and dance theatre, as well as modern and contemporary dance, (contact) improvisation courses for adults and children. She provides Hip Hop workshops in various school projects and uses her knowledge of teaching and choreography to lead performance projects with children and young adults.
