mzin is an independent bookshop and project space for visual culture in leipzig, founded in 2008 by graphicdesigners philipp neumann and karen laube. rooted in diy-culture we offer a curated selection of magazines, local zines, catalogs, books etc. on graphicdesign, art, illustration, typography, painting, urban art, photography, fashion, architecture and popculture related issues. we believe in authenticity and originality.
we do small exhibitions on these issues and since 2011 a limited publication (mzin press) is sold on the occasion of the exibitions. you can catch us on tour selling our goods on festivals and conferences, we give lectures, write reviews etc.
