CAFÉ TRAUMA - YOUR PARTICIPATORY CULTURE SPACE
You don't want to listen to music from the Spotify charts, watch "middle-class intellectuals cinema" or what 3sat calls culture?
Rather experience DIY? Organise it yourself? A concert, a film series, a party, a festival, a workshop or something else entirely? In the end even with a political claim?
At Café Trauma, all of this is possible. Here, infrastructure and (free) spaces can be used without being tied into the corset of a commercial cultural organiser. Café Trauma usually offers over 200 events a year - concerts, cinema, clubbing, parties, art, readings, discussions and information events - and everything is always affordable for everyone. The whole thing is organised by various internal trauma groups, which act independently and realise their own projects.
In our “participatory culture space“ you are responsible for the program, no boss decides what is played. We also organise bigger events, like music and film festivals over several days. Our sub- and niche culture does not only live from an exciting and diverse program, but also from a political approach that enables a solidary togetherness.
