Ramona Gastl is born in Augsburg (1991) and has studied Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at Hochschule Hannover since 2012. In her photo projects, she follows issues like inclusion or integration, with incredible and positive people and projects, that she is fascinated about. Personal development plays a big part in it.
Her pictures about the Grandhotel Cosmopolis were published in THE ZEIT in 2014. At Arte Future you can see her multimedia reportage DIE MENSCH MASCHINE, which was made with Philipp Hannappel and 2470media from Berlin. Last year she won a first prize with the film PARALLELWELT together with Max Kesberger - Medien All Inklusiv 2015 SoVD-Niedersachsen. And at last she is part of the Lumix Festival for Young Photojournalism in Hannover with her film ILLUSIA and the introduced work about the Grandhotel Cosmopolis (15.-19.06.2016).
