Stijn Van Tongerloo (°1980) obtained a master degree in sociology (2003) and in philosophy (2007). Since discovering anthroposophy in the course of his studies, and writing a Master's thesis entitled "Observing and Knowing. The Theory of Knowledge of Rudolf Steiner" he has nurtured an interest in Rudolf Steiner's philosophy and anthroposophy. Since 2015 he has been self-employed a a translator, copy editor and text corrector. Over the past 2 years he has gained substantial experience in editing English texts written by native-Dutch speakers, as well as translating from Dutch/French/German to English. Most of this work has been for professors and doctoral students of the University of Leuven, but some has been for professors and graduate students at Dutch universities.
