Hej hej dear startnext visitors, I am Sophie (24) und I grew up in the really southern part of Germany. For my studies I went to the FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg and did my Bachelors in Social Economics. I selected sustainability management as my mayor and since this period of time, the topic of sustainability is really rooted in my personality. The professor and chairholder of the department of sustainability management, Dr. Markus Beckmann Lehrstuhlinhaber explained the topics of sustainability in such an interesting and practical way and inspired me to implement sustainability in my personal and professional life. During my Bachelor's I went to Spain and studies at the Universidad de Alcalá. Here, I got to know Anna, one of my best friends and the other co-founder of hejhej-mats. Together, we went to Malmö in order to do our Master's in Leadership for Sustainability. During this time, the idea of hejhej-mats emerged. Professionally, I could gather experiences in one of the leading sustainability consulting agencies. My economical focus of my Bachelors combined with my practical and scientific skills of my Bachelor's and Master's in the field of sustainability management are really helping me in my work for hejhej-mats. I really like one of the quotations of Albert Einstein "Those who have the privilege to know, have the duty to act". Sustainability means so much to me and with our start-up hejhej-mats, we want to inspire more people for this topic. I want to motivate them to take decisions in a more responsible way. Our future needs to be changed environmentally, socially and econimally. hejhej-mats, Anna and me want to contribute a more sustainable future and want to spread the concept of the circular economy in the world. When not thinking about sustainability, I love to do sports and spend as much time outside as possible. However, often you can also find me in cute little cafés with delicious cakes.
