Tihana Dovhanj was born in Vinkovci, Croatia. Her career led her, through her piano studies and through international festivals, master classes and award-winning competitions, to Vienna. During her studies, she gained experience in project management. In 2015, she won the prize with a small team for the best project (app innovation) of the competition "With innovations we change the world - Think, create and live sustainably". She graduated summa cum laude in 2018. She worked for renowned institutions such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, Mozarthaus Vienna and the Grafenegg Festival. She is currently studying cultural management at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. During her studies she received several scholarships, including two for the most successful students at the University of Zagreb, as well as a start-up scholarship for cultural managers from the Austrian Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Civil Service and Sports (2020).
In September 2020 she founded the non-profit cultural association "ArtVisa" in order to set the fresh impulses through sustainable and innovative art in Austria.
