It is needless to say that 2020 came differently for all of us. The band agenda that was fully booked (e.g. Herzberg Festival, Tollwood Festival, Open Ohr, Lott Festival, Woodstock Forever, U&D Würzburg) has been completely postponed to 2021.
Has the band therefore gone silent? - No way. In the last weeks they released two brand new singles: “We Are One”, an ode to humanity with musicians from the entire world, and “Don’t Forget” a reminder for all of us to now and then turn the music up loud and move the body to the beat. These two songs hit a nerve and touched thousands of people’s hearts around the world when it was most needed.

“These difficult times brought us and our fans even closer together and made us think that if our fans can't come and see us, then we’ll have to come to them!”, concludes lead singer Paul Istance. This idea led to the band going on a ‘Gardenparty-Tour’ through Germany where they’ll play in their fans' gardens. In spring 2021 the band will continue their lately very successful conquest by playing their own club tours and a festival season that is already overflowing their agenda.

In the end of 2019, The Magic Mumble Jumble successfully played their first headliner tour in Germany.“We couldn't believe our eyes, people literally poured in and every club was full!”- so the lead singer. The eight piece band share more than these deep experiences: the sound of their unique blend of jazz, pop, indie and folk, as well as the ability to translate their sense of connection to any audience. With his charismatic stage presence and live-to-love attitude bandleader Paul Istance is on a mission to make the shows a magic experience in which the gap between audience and band disappears completely. Armed with their eight singing voices, horns, percussion, electric and acoustic guitars as well as a huge amount of positive energy, THE MAGIC MUMBLE JUMBLE sets out to include all the people they encounter in their journey on the road to freedom.

Since its founding the band has released several singles of which the song “Home” was featured on a Sony Compilation in 2015. These releases were followed by their live debut album “The Magic Mumble Jumble” in 2016 - an outstanding live recording the band made in the Netherlands together with more than 60 musicians. Due to great sales it has had to be reproduced several times. In the autumn of 2017 they released their successful EP “We All Want Sunshine’’ and gave birth to their second album “Show your Love” in November 2018. The band recorded that album together with producer Tom Gelissen (Ennio Morricone, Woodkid, Armin van Buuren). In ‘2019 Burg Herzberg Festival’ asked the band to publish their live show of the previous year. This live recording of 14 songs with 90 minutes of pure energy and love is a spectacular documentation and resembles the bands strongest feature - their live show. In 2020 the German television program ZDF invited to band to perform at the ‘ZDF Morgenmagazin’. The latest single 'Don't Forget' just hit the 100.000 plays mark on Spotify.
