Next steps
Now that the crowdfunding was successful and we've received the generous contributions from supporters, friends, and family, we're ready to take the next steps. We've filed paperwork, we're cataloguing the records for the cafe, and we're building the outdoor furniture! Thanks again so much for your support, we're really looking forward to opening in the next month or two!
Below are some pictures of the furniture we're building. The outdoor benches and tables and chairs are being built by re-purposing the old window rollers from the cafe front room. They're looking great! We're also building planters from repurposed pallets. We're building a simple reservoir watering system underneath so that the plants will stay fresh and green during hot days. Next week we will begin designing our vinyl catalogue book that visitors can use to select a record to be played in the cafe. Also underway is the design of our signs/stamps. Finally, we're putting together the thank you rewards for all our supporters. Thank you again for all your support!
