What is this project all about?

We designed a Chino-pant with a classic cut made out of an innovative High-Tech-Fabric, which is suitable for sportive activities as well as to wear for business reasons. With the production of this novel clothing, we support the educational- and integrational work of a selected “Kiez-Schneiderei”(local tailory) in Berlin. What is the project goal and who is the project for?

Our goal is to produce 100 pants.

After a successful start more “Kiez-Schneidereien” (local tailories) shall be included, to ensure the growth of this project.

The targeted groups are people, who like to wear modern functional fabrics during their urban daily life and at the same time care about social responsibility regarding consumption. These are highly active people, who care about their appearance even if they ride on the bike through the rain. Furthermore, our Slik17-Chino is targeted to urban trend athletes such as Skateboard drivers, Inline skaters or Parcour runners.

Why would you support this project?

How will we use the money if the project is successfully funded?

With the money we buy fabrics and materials, as zippers and buttons. We transmit an order of 100 pants at the first “Kiez-Schneiderei” upon incoming orders. These pants are instantly available for purchasing. Furthermore, we invest in marketing- and communication strategies, to make this idea of social entrepreneurship and the Slik17-projects available and to support for a larger group of people.

Who are the people behind the project?

Dipl.-Kaufmann (Uni) Jörg Beckmann, MBA, is Innovator, Entrepreneur and Owner of the Silencio UG (haftungsbeschränkt), a company, which provides innovative and aesthetic solutions for companies and private persons, to quiet down rooms.

Diplom-Betriebswirt (DH) Julian Kea, MBA, is founder and owner of [ki:]®Learning. As Trainer and Coach he works with people, who apply for a job, approach the next step in carrier or launch a company. He inspires his clients to find new solutions with established management methods.
