A German-Zambian theatre project for vulnerable youth that is looking for definitions of happiness in Livingstone/Zambia.
Whereas happiness is a consumer good that one achieves by hard work in the Western world, it is a collective team sport in Africa. Really? We figure it out. Over a three-week period we will work with children and young adults to organize a Theatre Experience School in Zambia. Here, the children ask themselves questions relating to the subject of happiness and transform their answers and thoughts to dance, music and theatre. The performances will be celebrated at a final Smile Festival.
